As part of my education at ACBA I have to do an externship every summer. I have to work a minimum of 270 hours and students are responsible for securing and arranging the details of their externship. So far, I have worked at Bushey Ironworks in Kings Beach, California, Josef Still Metalgestaltung in Kolbermoor, Germany, and Ratho Byres Forge in Ratho Scotland. These experiences have been very impactful in my development as a blacksmith.
